ஜார்ஜியாவின் ஆளுநர் திரு. பிரையன் பி. கெம்ப் அவர்கள் ஜனவரி 15, 2024 ஆம் தேதியை “தமிழ் தைப் பொங்கல் தினமாக” அறிவித்து பாராட்டுச் சான்றிதழ் வழங்கியுள்ளார் என்பதை அறிவிப்பதில் மகிழ்ச்சி அடைகிறோம்.
தமிழ் மொழி, கலைகள், கலாச்சாரம், தொண்டு மற்றும் பாரம்பரியம் ஆகியவற்றை மேம்படுத்துவதில் ஜார்ஜியா தமிழ் மக்களின் அசைக்க முடியாத அர்ப்பணிப்புக்கு இந்த மதிப்புமிக்க அங்கீகாரம் ஒரு சான்றாகும். அட்லாண்டா தமிழ் மன்றம் சமூகத்தில் தமிழ் மரபுகள் பற்றிய ஆழமான புரிதலையும் பாராட்டையும் வளர்ப்பதில் மேற்கொண்ட குறிப்பிடத்தக்க முயற்சிகளை இந்தச் சான்றிதழ் அங்கீகரிக்கிறது.
தமிழ் அடையாளத்தைப் பாதுகாத்து கொண்டாடும் ஜார்ஜியா தமிழ் மக்களின் பணியைத் தொடர ஊக்கமளிக்கும் இந்தப் பாராட்டு எங்களைப் பெருமைப்படுத்துகிறது. இந்த பிரகடனம் நமது பாரம்பரியத்தின் கலாச்சார செழுமையை எடுத்துக்காட்டுவது மட்டுமல்லாமல், நமது மாநிலமான ஜார்ஜியாவில் பன்முகத்தன்மையின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை அடிக்கோடிட்டுக் காட்டுகிறது.
