அட்லாண்டா தமிழ் மன்றம் உணவு தான நிகழ்வை வெற்றிகரமாக நடத்தியது. குவிண்ணெட் கவுன்ட்டியில் பசியால் போராடும் மக்களுக்கு உதவ உணவு சேகரிக்கும் இந்த முயற்சியில் பலர் மிகுந்த உற்சாகத்துடன் பங்கேற்றனர்.
தன்னார்வ உறுப்பினர் வீட்டில் தயாரித்த உணவை அட்லாண்டா தமிழ் மன்றத்தின் தொண்டுக் குழு மூலம் ‘ஹோம் ஆப் ஹோப் @ குவிண்ணெட் சில்ட்ரன்’ஸ் ஷெல்டர் ’ திட்டக் குழுவினரிடம் அன்புடன் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டன.
இந்த குழுவினரின் முதன்மை திட்டம், விருந்தினர்களின் வாழ்நாளெல்லாம் அமைதி, வெற்றி மற்றும் நிலைத்தன்மையை ஏற்படுத்த தேவையான வாழ்க்கைத் திறன்களை வழங்குகிறது.
நமது தொண்டுக் குழு ஒப்படைத்த உணவை இல்லத்தில் இருக்கும் விருந்தினருக்கு நேரடியாக சென்று சேரும் வகையில் விநியோகிக்கப்படுகின்றன.

Atlanta Tamil Mandram organized a food donation drive to support a meal for the guests @ Home of Hope at Gwinnett Children’s Shelter that serve individuals and families facing hunger. The initiative received enthusiastic participation from many generous members of the community.
