We are thrilled to unveil the exciting musical initiatives taking place within Atlanta Tamil Mandram, aimed at promoting our beloved Tamil language through the universal language of music. 

ATM Youth Band & Choir as well as ATM Adult Band & Choir program is open for ATM Members only, if you are not a member and interested in joining ATM Band & Choir please register using our membership portal

The enrollment for all members eligible age group :

  • 6 to 10 years
  • 11 to 13 years
  • 14 to 17 years
  • 18 years and above

We’re proud to announce the formation of four distinct music groups catering to various age groups: the Mazhalai Pattalam, Under 14 Group, the Under 17 Group, and the Adults Group.

After we receive your registrations, our coordinators will evaluate the entries and reach out to you on the next steps!!

All registrations will go through a selection process to analyze the level of musical experience and place each participant into one of the sub groups within our ATM Band & Choir!! If you are an existing ATM Youth Band & Choir participant and have performed at our ATM events in the previous years, you will not have to go through the selection process until requested by the Band Directors / Band Coordinators!!

Band coordinators will help with all the logistics and communications whereas we have dedicated band directors who will be guiding and mentoring the participants!!

  1. Mazhalai Pattalam: Children aged 6 to 10 in our ATM’s Mazhalai Pattalam will have the opportunity to learn and perform the Tamil Thai Vaazhthu, the American National Anthem, and a selection of short Tamil poems and songs.

  2. Under 14 Group: This group comprises our talented young enthusiasts under the age of 14. They bring a fresh perspective and boundless energy to their musical endeavors, showcasing the beauty of Tamil through melodious tunes and heartfelt performances. With their creativity and passion, they are sure to captivate audiences of all ages.

  3. Under 17 Group: The Under 17 Group represents the vibrant spirit and growing talent within our teenage community. Through their musical expressions, they not only celebrate our rich Tamil heritage but also serve as inspiring role models for their peers. With their dedication and enthusiasm, they are poised to make a significant impact on our cultural landscape.

  4. Adults Group: Our Adults Group comprises seasoned performers and enthusiasts who share a deep love for Tamil music. With their years of experience and expertise, they bring a wealth of knowledge and artistry to their performances, captivating audiences with their mastery of rhythm and melody. They serve as ambassadors for our language and culture, fostering a sense of pride and belonging within our community.
