பொங்கல் திருவிழா நன்றி நவிலல்

அட்லாண்டா தமிழ் மன்றத்தின்பொங்கல் திருவிழா, ஜனவரி 25-ஆம் நாள் அன்று வெகு விமரிசையாக கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. மன்றத்தின் உறுப்பினர்களும், உறுப்பினர் அல்லாதவர்களுமாக 1700 அதிகமானோர் கலந்து கொண்ட பெருவிழாவாக அமைந்தது.

நண்பகல் 12 மணிக்கு ஆரம்பித்து இரவு 9 மணி வரை கிட்டத்தட்ட 1700 பேர் இந்த விழாவை கண்டு களித்தனர். 450 குழந்தைகள் மற்றும் பெரியவர்கள் பங்கேற்ற 40விதமான கலை நிகழ்ச்சிகள், மூலம் தங்கள் திறமைகளை வெளிப்படுத்தினர்.

“கலக்கப்போவது யாரு” புகழ் திரு.அசார் மற்றும் திரு.சுட்டி அரவிந்த் அரவிந்த் கலை குழுவினரின் இசையோடு இணைந்த நகைச்சுவை நிகழ்ச்சி ஆகியவை நடைபெற்றது.இந்த சிறப்பு நிகழ்வு நகைச்சுவை மற்றும் இசையை ஒரு கச்சிதமான கலவையாக இருந்தது. குழந்தைகளுடன் பெரியோர்களும் இந்த நிகழ்வை கண்டு மகிழ்ந்தனர்.
 
இருபத்தி ஐந்துக்கும் மேற்பட்ட விற்பனைச் சாவடிகளில் நிகழ்ச்சியில் கலந்து கொண்டவர்கள் பொருட்களை வாங்கினர். செவிக்கு மட்டுமில்லாது வயிற்றுக்கும் வந்திருந்த விருந்தினர்களுக்கு அறுசுவை தலை வாழை விருந்து பரிமாறப்பட்டது.
 
உரியடி,கோலப்போட்டி,பொங்கல் போட்டி,பானை அலங்காரப் போட்டி போன்ற பல பிரிவுகளில் மன்ற உறுப்பினர்கள் கலந்து தங்கம் மற்றும் வெள்ளி காசுகளை பரிசாக வென்றனர்.
 
இந்நிகழ்ச்சியின் இன்னொரு பகுதியாக பான்யன் வே அட்லேண்டா தமிழ் மன்றத்துடன் இணைந்து நடத்திய வெற்றிகரமான திருமண மாநாட்டில் கிட்டத்தட்ட 50க்கும் மேற்பட்ட வரன்கள் தங்கள் பெற்றோருடன் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

நம்முடைய பொங்கல் திருவிழா கொண்டாட்டங்களின் ஒரு பகுதியாக நடத்தப்பட்ட போட்டிகளில் வெற்றி பெற்றவர்களை அறிவிக்கதில் மகிழ்ச்சி அடைகிறோம்! பங்கேற்ற அனைவருக்கும் மனமார்ந்த வாழ்த்துகள்! 🎊

வந்திருந்த அனைத்து உறுப்பினர்களுக்கும் பரிசு சீட்டு வழங்கப்பட்டு குலுக்கல் முறையில் வெற்றியாளர்கள் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டு தங்கம் மற்றும் வெள்ளி நாணயங்கள் பரிசாக வழங்கப்பட்டன.இந்த பரிசுகளை வழங்கி உதவிய அனைவருக்கும் (ஜோய் ஆலுக்காஸ் மற்றும் மலபார் ஜுவல்லர்ஸ்) நன்றி.
 
மேடை அலங்காரம் மற்றும் உறியடி போட்டிக்கான அனைத்து ஏற்பாடுகளையும் செய்த திரு.ஜவஹர் அவர்களுக்கு மிக்க நன்றி. வந்திருந்த பார்வையாளர்களில் பெரும்பாலானோர் உறியடி போட்டியில் உற்சாகமாக கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

We are thrilled to share the incredible success of ATM Pongal Thiruvizha, held on Saturday, January 25, 2025!
This vibrant celebration of Tamil Thirunal Thai Pongal brought together 1700+ members for a day filled with joy, culture, and community spirit. Here are some of the highlights:
 
  • 450+ participants showcasing their talents across 40+ cultural programs
  • 100+ volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes
  • 25+ booth vendors and colorful decorations that set the festive tone
  • Uriyadi, Kolam competition, Pongal competition, and Pot Decoration competition, our members participated and won exciting gold and silver lucky draw prizes, and so much more
  • Special performances led by KPY Azhar and the Chutty Arvind team
  • Delicious food offerings, including a hearty lunch and food trucks
  • The successful Indian Matrimony Convention organized by Banyan Way
